Major CNE Ticket Discounts Available for PRESTO Cardholders

The 2024 Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) is set to begin in a month, and Metrolinx is offering exclusive benefits for GO and PRESTO customers.

PRESTO cardholders can save up to 44% on CNE advance sale admission and ride tickets until August 15 with PRESTO Perks. That’s a decent discount.

There are two options for discounted advance sale tickets:

• Single Admission: $22, includes grounds admission and access to all shows and exhibits for one day.
• Ride All Day Pass: $45, includes admission, shows, exhibitions, and unlimited midway rides for one day.

After August 16, discounts drop to 37% for PRESTO cardholders, explained Metrolinx in an email to iPhone in Canada.

Veterans and a companion can ride GO and UP Express for free on August 17 for the Warriors’ Day Parade, with immediate family members of fallen veterans also eligible for free rides by showing ID.

Recently, PRESTO finally launched support for Apple Wallet, allowing riders to natively use Apple Watch and iPhone as their cards.

Metrolinx is increasing GO Train services from August 16 to September 2 along the Lakeshore West and East lines, adding new eastbound and westbound trips to facilitate travel to the CNE. The CNE will take place at Exhibition Place in Toronto from August 16 to September 2, 2024.
