Fido Offers $50/100GB Canada-US Plan to Switch to Rogers
Fido customers are being enticed to switch to parent company Rogers right now, through a $50/100GB 5G Canada-USA plan.
This $50/100GB 5G+ plan includes access to talk, text and data while you’re in Canada or the USA. It also includes 1,000 long distance minutes as a bonus (Canada to Bangladesh, China including Hong Kong, India,
Mexico and UK), according to details shared on RFD, noting it’s available so far in Ontario.
This Fido migration plan to Rogers is available at The Mobile Shop, BestBuy Mobile and Wal-Mart. There might be gift card bonuses at resellers this weekend.
The $70 activation fee (that recently jumped up from $60) will be waived through $10/month credits for seven months.
Fido also is enticing customers to switch to Rogers by showing an iPhone 15 upgrade at $32.50/month on the company’s Save & Return program, with the plan above but at $55/100GB, according to iPhone in Canada readers. It’s not a deal, but the messaging is very clear that switching to Rogers is something you should consider.
Check the screenshot seen below after logging into online accounts:
Another financing mention from Fido is the iPhone 15 for $48.38/month on a Plus plan. That’s just the iPhone 15 at regular price on financing, but the message from Fido seems clear: switch to Rogers.
Last October, we saw Rogers similarly offer 5G plans and iPhone 15 to get Fido customers to switch over as well.

50 GB Can/US for $34 with public mobile here and I rarely hit 25-30.
These smaller companies will soon charge similar prices to the big three with loads of data nobody will use. Greed has no end.
Looks like they are planning to eventually shut down Fido!
I agree. Over the last 12 months they have been given so many hints about this…(these offers, shutdown of Fido internet etc.)
They also merged Fido stores with Rogers
That one is debatable….koodo merged with telus to, but i see no sign of telus killing koodo.
Yeah I guess you are right!
Fido, Koodo, and Virgin are all getting shuttered. They are all doing their best to get you to their incumbent or their other flanker. No Internet at Fido, no 5g at Koodo, the cuts keep coming
They only want chatr, lucky and public. You can see Telus tossing all the updates at public with Koodo getting nothing.
mark my words…
I still have that exclusive $55 for 130GB CAN-US plan which still better then this offer.
