Telus-owned Public Mobile is offering yet another ‘winback’ plan, aimed at users who left the company for a rival.
The winback deal says you can save 20% off select plans for 6 months, specifically any plan $29/month or higher, when you resubscribe. Of course, recently Public Mobile changed its plans and eliminated most of their popular Canada-US plans. So this 20% off offer is pretty ‘cold’ in terms of being a deal.
“We want you back. We have the offer to prove it,” reads the email from Public Mobile shared on RFD yesterday. The email includes a one-time use promo code to save 20% off eligible plans.
“We want to make things right and win you back with this limited time offer,” explains Public Mobile.
Those former Public Mobile customers who had left the company and received the email, mocked the offer, citing the recent price hikes from the carrier. The email contains a promo code to use to get the offer.
This ‘winback’ offer is better than a previous Public Mobile offering from April, as the latter only offered 15 Public Points.
