Google Unveils Bigger Pixel Watch 3, Now in Two Sizes
Google has officially unveiled its latest flagship smartwatch, the Pixel Watch 3, that combines a sleek, stylish design with impressive new features.

With the introduction of a larger 45mm model alongside the existing 41mm version, the Pixel Watch 3 is set to cater to a wider audience while delivering its most powerful experience yet.
The latest Pixel watch boasts the most advanced Actua displays ever seen on a Pixel smartwatch, available in both 41mm and the all-new 45mm size. These displays are twice as bright as previous models, reaching a peak brightness of 2,000 nits, making it easier than ever to see important data, even in direct sunlight.
The displays are also designed to be adaptive, automatically dimming to as low as 1 nit in darker environments for a more comfortable viewing experience. The larger 45mm version offers a 40% increase in screen size, while the 41mm version delivers a 10% boost, all while reducing bezels and enhancing power efficiency with refresh rates ranging from 60Hz to 1Hz in always-on-display mode.

In terms of battery life, the Pixel Watch 3 doesn’t disappoint. Thanks to the integration of Wear OS 5 and a power-efficient hybrid architecture, users can enjoy reliable all-day battery life. The new Battery Saver Mode extends usage up to 36 hours without sacrificing essential health, fitness, or safety features.
The watch introduces Daily Readiness, Cardio Load, and Target Load, all of which work together to provide a comprehensive understanding of the body’s readiness for physical activity.
Daily Readiness uses advanced algorithms to assess recovery metrics such as resting heart rate and heart rate variability, offering personalized insights into the optimal intensity for daily workouts. Cardio Load tracks heart exertion and intensity throughout the day, while Target Load delivers personalized training goals each morning.
Another new feature of the Pixel Watch 3 is the new Loss of Pulse Detection. This life-saving technology detects when a user’s heart suddenly stops beating, a critical emergency that requires immediate attention.
In such events, the watch can automatically contact emergency services, providing essential information and the user’s location. Initially available in select European countries, this feature will expand to more regions as Google works with regulatory bodies to ensure broader availability.

The Pixel Watch 3 is now available to order in a variety of stylish color options and finishes, with the 41mm model starting at $349.99 for the Bluetooth/Wi-Fi version and $449.99 for the LTE version (U.S. prices).
