Geekbench AI 1.0 Download Released for iOS, Android, and Desktop

Primate Labs has just launched Geekbench AI 1.0, a cutting-edge benchmarking tool designed to measure AI performance across various platforms.

With its roots in the earlier “Geekbench ML” preview releases, Geekbench AI 1.0 is now ready for general use, offering a comprehensive suite of tests tailored to the rapidly evolving landscape of machine learning, deep learning, and AI-centric workloads.

Software developers can use the benchmark to ensure consistent performance across different platforms, whereas hardware engineers can leverage it to measure architectural improvements and device performance.

Measuring AI performance is a complex challenge due to the varying approaches and hardware used in different devices. Primate Labs has addressed this complexity by providing three distinct performance scores in Geekbench AI 1.0. These scores account for the different ways AI hardware is designed and how developers utilize that hardware.

Available for download on Windows, macOS, Linux, as well as through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, Geekbench AI 1.0 is accessible to a wide audience.

To accommodate the diverse nature of AI hardware, Geekbench AI 1.0 provides three performance scores. This approach is similar to how benchmarks evaluate single-core and multi-core performance in CPUs.

In addition to speed, accuracy is a critical factor in AI performance. Geekbench AI 1.0 includes a new accuracy measurement on a per-test basis, highlighting the importance of not just running workloads quickly but also producing reliable results.

Primate Labs has ensured that Geekbench AI 1.0 is built on well-established industry practices, with detailed technical descriptions available in the Inference Workloads document.
