Sonos Ace, the company’s first headphones that launched back in May, are seeing their first sale.

Right now, Sonos.com and retailers like Amazon.ca have slashed the Ace headphones by $70 off, down to $529.

The Sonos Ace headphones offer precise, clear sound with lossless streaming, spatial audio, and Active Noise Cancellation. Features include Aware mode, up to 30 hours of battery life, and clear calls.

You can connect wirelessly via Bluetooth or use the included USB-C and 3.5 mm cables. Experience enhanced home theater audio with Dolby Atmos and dynamic head tracking. Compatible with Apple and Android devices.

Sonos fast-tracked its overhauled mobile app to allow for support for the Ace headphones, but by doing so, it did not iron out bugs and many users have been up in arms about the app, which has caused major headaches for existing owners. But Sonos says it is working hard to fix app issues, so let’s see how that plays out.

Who wants to pay that much for headphones when Sony’s flagship model goes on sale constantly for about $200 less than the Ace? Also, Sonos doesn’t even offer a good warranty and their app is now terrible. They are going to have to do better than that.
