Virgin Plus Promo Plans: $14/20GB and $19/50GB with a Catch
Bell’s Virgin Plus is offering some some promo plans at its dealers and authorized sellers, in the form of $14/20GB and $19/50GB bring your own device plans, that include unlimited nationwide calling and messaging.
What’s the catch? The $14/20GB plan is actually a $34/20GB plan, but there’s a $50 credit (spread out over 5 months at $10/month) and another $60 activation fee credit (spread out over six months at $10/month). So after after five months, the plan jumps to $24 and after six months, it’ll be back up to $34/month. Kudos to the Virgin Plus marketing team for conjuring up this spread of discounts.
It seems this same formula applies to the $19/$50 plan, which is actually Virgin’s $39/$50 plan after credits.

But with Black Friday set for the end of November, this BYOD plan might last you until then, if you’re willing to head to a dealer and switch over to it.
People on RFD said the promo plans are available in BC and Ontario, seen at Superstore’s The Mobile Shop, T-Booth Wireless and more, including Best Buy, with the latter offering a $50 store gift card with new activations.
We’ve seen Bell and other carriers increase the price of BYOD plans over time, so let us know if you’re seeing price changes by emailing ti**@************da.ca.
