Tesla Cybertruck Now Eligible for $10,000 CleanBC Rebate
Tesla has announced that its love-it-or hate-it Cybertruck is now eligible for a $10,000 rebate under British Columbia’s CleanBC program, aimed at businesses and organizations, reports Tesla North.
The rebate applies to commercial pickup trucks with a bed length of at least 72 inches and a minimum 36-month lease is required to qualify.
The news was shared on X, where Tesla also noted potential additional rebates pending approval from Quebec’s Écocamionnage program and the federal iMHZEV rebate.
The Cybertruck’s limited-edition Foundation Series models, which start at a hefty $137,990 CAD for the AWD version and a whopping $165,990 CAD for the tri-motor Cyberbeast, are currently available for order in Canada. Even with the rebate, these are expensive electric trucks.
In addition to the rebate eligibility, Tesla’s Cybertruck is set to receive Autopark features this weekend (the car can self-park), while Full Self-Driving capabilities are expected later this month.

Only in BC you can take taxpayer dollars to subsidize a 120k truck that no tradie will use – just the nouveau riches.
Hummer meets Aztek meets Lada.
Outrageous waste of roadway for an impractical vehicle best used to show off drivers' lack of 'equipment' elsewhere.
Clean BC Initative only encouraging this.
you're the waste of space on a roadway lol
Ooh, what an informed comeback and effort to convince me otherwise!
