Apple is offering new and returning subscribers a free MLS Season Pass for the remainder of the 2024 season, including the playoffs, upon redeeming a qualifying Apple Gift Card.
The regular MLS season is set to end on October 19, with playoffs starting afterwards and going until December 7, with the MLS Cup as the finale.
To take advantage of the offer, any Apple gift card amount must be purchased, redeemed, and the subscription offer accepted by September 30, 2024.
The offer applies only to Apple Gift Cards purchased from select participating retailers in Canada. Apple mentions Sobeys, Rexall and Circle K stores in the email received by iPhone in Canada.
Gift cards bought at Walmart or funds added to an existing Apple Account balance are not eligible. Not sure why.
Now be warned—the MLS Season Pass plan will automatically renew in February 2025 at the regular price of $129 per season, or $99 for active Apple TV+ subscribers.
The bonus code is provided immediately after the gift card is redeemed into the Apple Account balance. An Apple Account with a payment method on file is required to participate, says the fine print.
If you were thinking of getting MLS Season Pass ahead of the playoffs, this is a good deal since loading up your Apple Account with a gift card won’t hurt, especially since funds can be used to pay subscriptions such as iCloud, Apple One and more.
