iPhone 16 Battery Test Reveals Impressive Gains [VIDEO]

Apple’s latest iPhone 16 series has made significant strides in battery performance as revealed in the ultimate battery test conducted by popular tech YouTuber Mrwhosetheboss.

IPhone 16 Ultimate Battery Test

The battery test placed the four new iPhone 16 models under scrutiny, with each showing varying levels of improvement compared to last year’s iPhone 15 series. The test also included a comparison with Samsung’s latest Galaxy S24 Ultra.

So what was the test? Each phone went through a variety of apps, such as Instagram, the App Store, YouTube, Photos, ChatGPT, gaming, and more.

Leading the pack was the iPhone 16 Pro Max, which lasted an impressive 11 hours and 22 minutes. This makes it one of the longest-lasting iPhones ever tested.

The 16 Pro Max model outlasted the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which saw battery life of 9 hours and 35 minutes, marking a substantial leap in performance. The gain is being attributed to a combination of factors, including the larger battery and Apple’s more efficient A18 chip, which powers the new device.

Close behind is the iPhone 16 Plus, which achieved a battery life of 8 hours and 45 minutes. This model saw a significant boost from its predecessor, making it an appealing option for those who want a long-lasting device without the premium features of the Pro Max.

Next in line is the iPhone 16 Pro, which recorded 8 hours and 19 minutes of battery life, matching the entry-level iPhone 16 in the test. So you pay more for the 16 Pro and you get the same battery life as the entry iPhone 16? The iPhone 15 saw 7 hours and 45 minutes of battery life.

In addition to testing the iPhone 16 models, the YouTuber included the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra in his comparison. The Galaxy S24 Ultra lasted 12 hours and 31minutes, outperforming all the iPhones except the Pro Max.
