Best October Prime Day Deals in Canada Teased by Amazon

Starting next week for 48 hours on October 8 to 9, Amazon will offer Prime members thousands of deals across categories such as electronics, home, toys, beauty, apparel, and more. This second Prime Day event, known as Prime Big Deal Days (it’s a mouthful) will offer huge discounts ahead of Black Friday and the holidays.

Amazon Canada has shared an early list of what you can expect to go on sale with iPhone in Canada. Shoppers can expect some of the lowest prices of the year on select products from top brands like Ninja, Shark, LG, JBL, HP, Levi’s, L’Oréal Paris, Murad, Mattel, and LEGO.

I hope these are real deals for most items. It’s not uncommon for vendors to artificially inflate the online price days/weeks before. They do this so on prime day they show a bigger discount/savings. That is the percentage saved. When in fact, the regular retail/normal price was never that high to start.
I’ve seen items that say you save almost 50% off,on Prime Days…. when I know the actual savings is only say 17%

camelcamelcamel is a site that tracks prices on items. if u add something u are looking for u will see if the manufacturer has hiked up the price for prime day. I use this site for big ticket items I am interested in.

Few days ago in the paper I believe I read…they are under class action for demonstrating this practice on their fire TVs. That is raising the pricing just before it goes on sale.
