How to Watch Today’s Xbox Partner Preview and What to Expect

Today, Xbox is hosting a brand new Partner Preview livestream. The event will cover some upcoming games from third-party partnering studios, including the upcoming Alan Wake 2 expansion.
Announced earlier this week, the Xbox Partner Preview will share new information about “new and upcoming games.” The live-streamed event is said to have “over a dozen new trailers over the course of around 25 minutes.” With quite a bit of anticipation behind this broadcast, here’s how you can check it out and what to expect.
Xbox has stated that the Partner Preview will include appearances by studios such as Remedy Entertainment, Sega, 505 Games, and “many more.” Remedy Entertainment, for instance, is confirmed to be showing off the first look of gameplay for Alan Wake 2: The Lake House. The expansion hasn’t been given a firm release date outside of an October window thus far. Time is ticking so expect some more information.
Sega will be showing off a new trailer for Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, the latest in the long-running Yakuza franchise. Developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the game centres on the character Goro Majima who begins to lead his own pirate crew after becoming stranded on an island. Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii releases February 28th, 2025
Finally, 505 Games will debut a look at Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. This dark fantasy action game is said to be a soulslike set in the land of Shu during the dark and tumultuous late Ming Dynasty. It’s expected to launch sometime in 2025.
Xbox promises that there’ll be other world premieres and titles that’ll appear throughout the live stream.
To tune in line, check out the official Xbox channels across YouTube, Twitch, and LinkedIn. However, YouTube is confirmed to be the only source for a 4K @ 60fps stream. The Xbox Partner Preview begins October 17th at 1 PM ET/10 AM PT.
