Telus-owned Public Mobile is stepping up its promo plans ahead of Black Friday it seems.
The company has launched a $36/50GB 5G Canada-US plan today, that includes 250 monthly international calling minutes.
Here are Public Mobile’s plans as of today:
This $36/50GB promo plan ends on October 31, 2024. It doesn’t specify that it’s for new subscribers, so log into your account and see if you can switch to it. Last year, we saw this plan debut at $34 per month, so right now it’s $2 higher than before.
Meanwhile, Quebecor’s Freedom Mobile has a $35/50GB 5G Canada-US-Mexico plan right now.
Public Mobile’s promo plan may be trying to get close to the Freedom offfering, but it’s not even close since Mexico roaming is included. We have yet to see a flanker brand offer Mexico roaming from Rogers, Telus or Bell yet.
