Koodo Now Offers Apple, Samsung Smartwatches with New Data Plan

Telus-owned Koodo is expanding its product lineup by adding the latest Apple and Samsung smartwatches to its offerings.
Customers can now purchase models like the Apple Watch Series 10, Apple Watch Ultra 2, Apple Watch SE, Samsung Galaxy Watch7, and Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra at Koodo retail stores and online.
In addition to selling the new smartwatches, Koodo has introduced a One Number 5GB Smartwatch plan for $10/month. This plan lets you connect your cellular smartwatch with 5GB of monthly 4G LTE data. Postpaid smartphone customers can link up to five watches to a single smartphone.
Activating a watch requires adding a $10 SIM card, and online orders need to pay a $15 shipping fee.
Koodo customers have long been waiting for cellular watch plans and here they are, finally. Bell’s Virgin Plus offers smartwatches and plans (since 2022), but Rogers’ Fido does not (that may change soon after they see this).

How about bring back 5G….
"Activating a watch requires adding a $10 SIM card, and online orders need to pay a $15 shipping fee." Where are you supposed to put this SIM card as there is no SIM slot on an Apple Watch. Or are you saying you need to replace your iPhone's SIM?
