Bell’s Crave Launches Black Friday Deal for 2024

Bell Media’s Crave has launched a promotion ahead of Black Friday. The deal is similar to what we saw earlier year, offering discounts on annual pricing. Crave is the home of HBO in Canada.
Crave is offering the following annual plans for 40% off—but only for your first year:
Premium: $130/year (regular $220/year)
- 4 streams at the same time
- Up to 4K video quality
- Includes offline downloads and live channels; no ads
Standard with Ads: $89.90/year (regular $149.90/year)
- Up to 4K video quality
- No offline downloads or live channels
Basic with Ads: $59.90/year (regular $99.90/year)
- 1 stream at a time
- Up to 720p video quality
- No offline downloads or live channels
It’s kind of sad to see the Basic with Ads plan only offer 720p video quality in 2024. You’re paying to see ads and can’t even get at least 1080p?
It’s worth noting that some titles are unavailable on ad-supported plans due to licensing restrictions. AirPlay, Roku, PS4/PS5 do not support ad plans. These are all prepaid plans that are non-refundable and automatically renew (except in Quebec where plans renew at monthly rates).
According to Bell, these annual savings end on December 2, 2024, at 11:59pm ET.
