Rogers vs Telus vs Bell vs Freedom: Best Cellphone Plans – November 2026

November is here, and the quiet month we saw in October did not last. Bell, Rogers and Telus all raised their cellphone plan prices in October, so most of the numbers below are higher than our October roundup.
The pattern is simple. Every Big 3 plan under $100 went up by $5 to $10, while the top global tiers stayed at $100. Freedom Mobile did not move.
Plans below are BYOD and mobile-only, after autopay discounts where published, using BC/Ontario/national headline pricing.
Rogers
- $70/60GB (5G+ Lite, Canada-wide; was $65)
- $75/100GB Canada-US for 24 months (5G+ Essentials; was $70)
- $90/unlimited data Canada-US-Mexico-Caribbean for 24 months (5G+ Popular; long distance to 27 countries; was $85)
- $100/unlimited Global (5G+ Ultimate; 64 destinations; long distance to 27 countries; priority network access; 5-year price guarantee)
Rogers followed Bell with a $5 increase on its three lower tiers, and the 5G+ Ultimate plan is the only one still at its October price. Rogers Satellite is still included across the lineup, and Popular and Ultimate include 12 months of Uber One.
Telus
- $70/60GB 5G+ Select (up to 2 Gbps; was $65)
- $75/100GB 5G+ Complete with US roaming (5GB/day roaming cap; was $70)
- $90/unlimited 5G+ Complete Unlimited, Canada-US-Mexico (5GB/day roaming cap; was $85)
- $100/unlimited 5G+ Complete Unlimited Explore (68 destinations; 5GB/day roaming cap)
Telus matched Rogers almost dollar for dollar. Its BYOD prices include a $10 discount for pre-authorized bank payments, and the three Complete plans come with a 5-year rate plan price lock. If you also have Telus Internet, TV or home security, the first line drops another $15 a month.
Bell
- $70/60GB Select (SD streaming; was $60) ; this plan doesn’t show on the plans page by default, you need to click the menu button
- $75/100GB Select with US roaming (SD streaming; 5GB/day roaming; was $70)
- $90/unlimited Ultra Canada-US-Mexico (HD streaming; 5GB/day roaming; 5-year price guarantee; was $85)
- $100/unlimited Ultra international (HD streaming; 5GB/day roaming; 5-year price guarantee; 83 destinations)
Bell made the biggest jump. The October price hike wiped out last month’s $5 cut on the 60GB plan, which is now $10 higher. Both Ultra plans include Crave Standard With Ads and up to 10,000 Aeroplan points. If you roam in Mexico, read the footnote on Bell’s roaming cap before you sign up.
Bell’s plan page now defaults to prices that include a $15 credit for new customers who add a Crave, Netflix and Disney+ bundle. The prices above are the mobile-only ones without that bundle.
Freedom Mobile (All plans include Canada/US/Mexico and global roaming); plans in BC shown below:
- $35/10GB + 1GB Roam Beyond
- $40/70GB + 1GB Roam Beyond
- $45/125GB + 5GB Roam Beyond
- $50/175GB + 10GB Roam Beyond
- $60/250GB + 10GB Roam Beyond
- $70/250GB + 20GB Roam Beyond
- $80/250GB + 30GB Roam Beyond
- $90/250GB + 40GB Roam Beyond
- $100/250GB + 50GB Roam Beyond
Freedom is now the only carrier here that hasn’t changed its prices. Its Total Freedom lineup matches October tier for tier, and every plan is still covered by its Price Freeze Promise. Freedom dropped its back-to-school labels in October, and Roam Beyond data still has no per-day roaming cap, unlike Telus and Bell.
With the Big 3 raising prices just before deal season, Black Friday promos will need to be good to look like real savings. If you can wait a few weeks, it may be worth it. The flanker and prepaid sides of the market are covered in our October Fido, Virgin Plus and Koodo roundup and October prepaid roundup (November editions coming).
