Apple Music Users Can Now Share Songs Directly to TikTok
TikTok has unveiled its latest feature, ‘Share to TikTok,’ designed to make sharing music and audiobooks directly from streaming services like Apple Music and Spotify easier than ever.

With the new ‘Share to TikTok’ feature, Apple Music and Spotify users can now seamlessly share their favorite songs, albums, playlists, podcasts, and audiobooks to TikTok directly from the app’s share menu.
This integration enables a new level of interaction between TikTok and music streaming services, giving creators and music lovers more ways to engage with content.
Users have two primary options for sharing content:
- Post to TikTok Feed: Users can share music and other audio content directly to TikTok’s For You Page (FYP), Stories, or TikTok Feed.
- Direct Messages (DMs): TikTok’s messaging feature now allows users to send songs, podcasts, or playlists to friends via DM.
Each piece of content shared through TikTok will include a link back to its source on the streaming platform. This feature is designed not only to drive user engagement on TikTok but also to increase visibility and interaction on Apple Music, Spotify and other music streaming services.
“We already know that creative expression is a core tenet of the TikTok user and creator experience, a tenet that is also strongly valued by our DSP partners,” said Lindsey Kelt Zikry, Global Product Partnerships Lead at TikTok.

Since its introduction, ‘Add to Music App’ has been responsible for hundreds of millions of track saves and billions of streams across platforms like Apple Music and Spotify.
Now, with ‘Share to TikTok,’ TikTok is taking its music discovery and sharing capabilities even further, offering a full-circle experience where users can easily integrate content from their streaming services into their TikTok creations.
