Apple’s Gold Link Bracelet for the Apple Watch, announced back in September during the Series 10 unveil, is now officially available for order in Canada, with delivery dates estimated between December 12 and 19.

Priced at a cool $449 CAD, the bracelet is crafted from a durable 316L stainless steel alloy, the same material used in Apple Watch cases, offering a seamless and high-end look for users (if you can afford it).

The design and manufacturing process for the Gold Link Bracelet reflects Apple’s precision standards: over 100 components make up each bracelet, and producing a single band requires nearly nine hours of meticulous machining to cut each link, says the the company.

The band also includes a custom butterfly closure that folds neatly within the bracelet itself. Additionally, several links are equipped with a release button, allowing users to add or remove links without any tools.

Each purchase includes the Link Bracelet band, designed for Apple Watch models 44mm, 45mm, 46mm, and 49mm in size.

Apple also offers a Gold Link Bracelet Extension Kit for $59 CAD, which consists of six additional stainless steel links to accommodate wrist sizes exceeding 200mm. These extra links follow the same easy-to-use design, with a release button that lets users adjust the bracelet size as needed without extra tools.

If you love gold, and have $500 to burn after taxes, then this Gold Link Bracelet might be just for you.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a gold link bracelet from Apple, however. Back in 2015, when the Apple Watch Edition debuted, the company gave fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld a custom-made gold link bracelet for his gold Apple Watch, to show off on Instagram.
