Rogers is rolling out a major Black Friday offer for eligible employees under the Rogers Preferred Program (RPP), also known unofficially as an “EPP”. These are discounted plans for companies to give to employees as perks.
Right now, Apple’s entry iPhone 16 is available for $14/month over 24 months with the Save & Return program, essentially a device leasing option. After 24 months, customers can return the device or keep it for an additional $393. This brings the total cost to $729, compared to Rogers’ retail price of $1,161—a 37% savings.
Rogers’ retail price of $1,161 reflects a slight markup over Apple.ca’s $1,129 listing. Even with this markup, the deal still saves customers $432 off the regular price.
To qualify, customers need to subscribe to a minimum $45/month plan, which includes 100GB of data, talk and text in Canada and the US. The plan requires automatic payments to be set up. There’s also a $70 activation fee, but Rogers credits $10/month for seven months, reducing the total activation cost.
