Rogers has tweaked its plans, this time adding a limited-time U.S. roaming add-on to select plans, specifically its 5G Infinite Extra offering.
The latest update today says the $70/175GB 5G Infinite Extra plan for bring your own device (and financing a device), now includes four months of U.S. roaming. “Use your plan’s calling, texting and data allotment within the U.S. for 4 months,” explains the new footnote.

In order to get U.S. roaming, one would need to shell out $90 per month to get the North American roaming plan. Otherwise, you’d have to pay $12 per day with the USA option for Rogers Roam Like Home.
Rivals Telus and Bell have the same plans right now, but they do not have the U.S. roaming bonus on the $70 plan. You can bet they’ll match this at some point.
Getting a plan from Public Mobile or Freedom Mobile is better at this point, as you can get included roaming in the US and Mexico starting at $29 per month.
