“A deadly virus engulfs the residents of Raccoon City in September of 1998, plunging the city into chaos as flesh eating zombies roam the streets for survivors,” the game’s description reads. “An unparalleled adrenaline rush, gripping storyline, and unimaginable horrors await you. Witness the return of Resident Evil 2.”

Resident Evil 2 was first released on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC in 2019. The game is a faithful remake of the original 1998 Resident Evil 2. When porting Resident Evil 2 to Apple devices, Capcom added a new Auto Fire mechanic to the game. Players can now automatically fire weapon when aiming at enemies for a short time.

Resident Evil 2 will support Bluetooth wireless controllers such as the Xbox Wireless Controller, DualSense, etc. The game also features eatures cross saves between iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
