Fido Boxing Week Deals are Here for 2024

fido boxing week 2024

Rogers has shared its Boxing Week deals early, and Fido’s Boxing Week deals are also available now.

For the record, here are Fido’s plans as of today, December 16, 2024:

  • $37.50/2GB
  • $34/60GB + US calling
  • $39/80GB + Calling to 7 countries

As for advertised Boxing Week deals online:

  • Galaxy S24 FE: $0 down and $38.33/month for 24 months with Fido Payment Program (full price: $1,111.49).
  • iPhone 16: $0 down and $48.38/month for 24 months with Fido Payment Program (full price: $1,161).
  • Google Pixel 9: $0 down and $15/month for 24 months with Fido Payment Program (full price: $1,287).
  • Google Pixel 8a: $0 down and $10/month for 24 months with Fido Payment Program (full price: $796).
  • Rogers 5G Home Internet: $60/month when paired with a mobile service. Try it risk-free for 30 days and get a $75 TSC Savings Card.
  • Up to $360 in bonus credit when you trade in an eligible device toward Samsung Galaxy S24, S24 FE, S24 Ultra, Z Fold6, or Z Flip6.
  • Certified Pre-Owned Devices: Up to 80% off select devices with Fido Payment Program.

For now, Telus and Bell are only advertising “holiday event” deals and not Boxing Week deals. Nothing yet from Koodo or Virgin Plus as well, but that should come shortly.

The same deal will happen once again, where dealers such as Costco, Best Buy, Walmart, The Mobile Shop, etc., will give gift cards or bonus points when you activate a new line in-store. These dealers will likely have exclusive in-store promo plans that aren’t available online. But be prepared to wait to get that next best deal.

I just switched to Freedom Mobile from Fido after 27 years. $35.00; 50GB 5G data to use in Canada, US or Mexico; unlimited calling to US and Mexico; plus 5GB of Roam Beyond which you can use in Europe. In addition, while in Europe, you can place and receive calls to the country you are in; place calls to Canada, and receive calls from Canada, US and Mexico. No more having to get an Airalo eSIM card and plan. You step off the plane and you're connected. No more pop-up from Fido welcoming me and telling me I can use their roaming plan for some ridiculous price per day. Too bad – Fido was a good plan for many years, but they haven't kept up with their competition.
