Apple TV+ Offers Free Streaming Weekend Starting January 3
Apple has just announced a special promotion granting free access to its streaming platform, Apple TV+, to all users from January 3 to January 5, 2025.

While Apple’s post on X announcing the promotion says Apple TV+ will be free to stream on January 4 and 5, Apple’s official press release says it will be available for free from January 3 to 5.
During this period, anyone with an Apple ID can stream Apple TV+ content across all compatible devices, including iPhones, iPads, Macs, Apple TVs, and other platforms supporting the Apple TV app. This initiative marks the first time Apple has opened its streaming service to non-subscribers for free.
The free weekend provides an excellent opportunity to catch up on acclaimed series ahead of their new seasons. Notably, “Severance,” a workplace thriller starring Adam Scott, returns for its second season on January 17, 2025. Viewers can binge-watch the first season during the free access period to prepare for the upcoming release.
To take advantage of the free streaming weekend, users need an Apple ID. Those without an Apple ID can create one for free. Once set up, users can access Apple TV+ through the Apple TV app on their preferred device.
This weekend, see for yourself.
