Fido’s Boxing Day Deals: End Date Revealed

We’ve seen some pretty lukewarm (and downright cold) Boxing Day deals from the sub-brands of Rogers, Telus and Bell.
Now, Fido has set an end date for its Boxing Day plans, set to end on January 6, 2024. Fido added this end date to its website on Monday.
Fido is offering the following plans right now after automatic payments:
- $34/60GB + US calling
- $39/100GB + long distance to 7 countries
Koodo and Virgin Plus, to nobody’s surprise, have the exact same plans. But the websites of these rivals have not set an end date yet, however, you can expect something similar soon.
It’s clear so far the winners for Black Friday and Boxing Day have been Freedom Mobile and its Canada-US-Mexico plans, which have been matched by Telus-owned Public Mobile. We still have yet to see Fido, Koodo and Virgin Plus add US or Mexico roaming data included with plans, and it looks like we never will. Maybe 2025?
