Your WhatsApp Status Can Now Be Shared to Facebook and Instagram

Meta has announced plans to let users connect WhatsApp to its Accounts Center, making it easier to manage features across its apps like Facebook and Instagram.
The update will roll out over the next few months said Meta on Tuesday.
Users who link their WhatsApp accounts can cross-post WhatsApp Status updates to Facebook or Instagram Stories without needing to post them separately, which of course takes more work and time.
The integration also allows single sign-on for faster access to WhatsApp and other Meta apps.
WhatsApp will have an option under “Who can see my status” that will no include toggles for Facebook Story and Instagram Story. This feature will be very handy for businesses or those that want to post more content to their Facebook and Instagram stories from WhatsApp.

Meta says linking your WhatsApp to Accounts Center is optional, and users can unlink their accounts anytime. WhatsApp reiterated that messages and calls remain end-to-end encrypted, ensuring no one—not even Meta—can access them.
Over time, features such as managing avatars and other tools across its apps will be possible.
The integration is set to roll out globally, with the option appearing in WhatsApp settings or during specific actions, like sharing a Status update.
