Public Mobile Hikes Prices of Select Plans, Tweaks Website and More

Telus-owned Public Mobile has been busy lately, as it has revamped its plan line up, specifically its 4G plans it previously stated were coming to an end.
What are we seeing? Prices for its 4G plans have increased, while data has also decreased for select plans.
Here are Public Mobile’s 4G and 5G plans as of today, January 28, 2025…

You’ll notice the $29 plan see its data cut by 50%, down from 10GB to 5GB. Ouch.

Telus is also leveraging the news ticker area to advertise its petition on internet choice. “Customer choice and competition are at risk. Click here to sign the petition,” says the message. You’ll also notice the petition now has over 188,000 signatures. When it first launched, we noticed many of the people signing were Telus employees.
