If you missed out on Sonic the Hedgehog 3 in theatres, it’s now available for streaming in Canada on Paramount+. This third instalment of the series has become the highest-grossing Sonic movie ever.
You can stream Sonic the Hedgehog 3 now on Paramount+ Canada, along with the first two movies in the Sonic the Hedgehog collection. There’s also a retro animated series and the Knuckles spin-off series.
The third film in the series picks up after Knuckles’ side adventure and introduces Shadow the Hedgehog, voiced by Canada’s Keanu Reeves. Shadow is a mysterious and powerful rival to Sonic, forcing him, Knuckles, and Tails to team up in their biggest battle yet.
Jim Carrey returns as Dr. Robotnik, while Ben Schwartz plays the voice of Sonic. Idris Elba is Knuckles, while James Marsden and Tika Sumpter also return.
Jeff Fowler returns as director for the third time, with Sonic 3 becoming the highest-grossing film from the series at $473 million USD worldwide and second-highest-grossing video game film of all time. The franchise has now surpassed a whopping $1.2 billion US globally.
But Sonic isn’t done yet. Paramount has confirmed that Sonic the Hedgehog 4 will hit theatres on March 19, 2027, which is still two years from now.
Paramount+ Canada starts at $6.99/month for the ad-supported plan, with options for annual payments as well.
