Telus-owned Public Mobile has lowered prices on several plans, offering more data at lower rates for both new 4G and 5G customers. The updated pricing applies to Canada-wide and Canada-US-Mexico plans.
For 5G plans, the new rates include:

And yet do not have wifi calling, which prevents many from switching.
Not to mention Roam Beyond. I guess they can’t make Public too competitive or they risk cannibalizing Koodo and Telus customers.

Ability to call via Wi-Fi when there's no celular signal,it's useful especially in rural areas.
Wi-Fi calling allows you to make and receive phone calls over a Wi-Fi network instead of using a cellular connection. Good for areas where cell signals are weak.
Anybody know if the recent "switch to a cheaper plan first" method works for getting this $35/60GB plan?
