Popular poker roguelite Balatro has now made its way into Xbox Game Pass. The game is made by Canadian developer LocalThunk and published by Playstack in February of last year.
“Balatro is a poker-inspired roguelike deck builder all about creating powerful synergies and winning big,” it explains. Normally, on its own, Balatro costs $18.99 CAD in the Xbox store. But you can get it for free with Game Pass Standard, Ultimate or PC Game Pass.

Balatro won Best Independent Game and Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards last year, plus was nominated for Game of the Year. It’s a crazy popular hit right now and joining Xbox Game Pass seems like a natural next step.
