Microsoft Copilot for macOS Now Available in Canada—Get It Now

Microsoft has officially launched its Copilot AI app for macOS, giving Mac users native access to its AI assistant for the first time on their desktops.
Mustafa Suleyman, CEO of Microsoft AI, announced the release on Thursday morning, highlighting how Mac users can now use Copilot just like on iPhone and iPad.

“Now live in the App Store (and my dock): Copilot for macOS 🍎 Don’t know how I ever lived without option+space for the million things a day I ask Copilot,” Suleyman wrote on X.
The app is prominently featured on the Mac App Store homepage, making it easy for users to download and integrate Copilot into their workflow. The assistant can generate text, summarize content, answer questions, and help with various tasks—a clear move by Microsoft to compete with AI tools from Google and more. Copilot is powered by OpenAI’s GPT models.
Meanwhile, Apple’s long-awaited Siri revamp is still nowhere to be seen. The company has been working on a major AI overhaul, which is supposed to come this spring but is now apparently delayed. If we don’t see the revamped Siri this spring, will Apple hold off until WWDC? In the meantime, we’re seeing OpenAI and Grok push so far ahead; even Amazon’s Alexa+ looks super impressive.
