‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ Canadian Streaming Date on Disney+ Announced

If you’ve been waiting for a Canadian streaming date for Mufasa: The Lion King, it will be available to stream on Disney+ in Canada starting March 26, right in the heart of spring break for the kiddos.
Directed by Oscar-winner Barry Jenkins, the film features new music by Lin-Manuel Miranda, including the viral hit “I Always Wanted a Brother.” The movie has earned over a whopping $700 million US at the box office and ranking among the top 10 biggest releases of 2024.
The film will join other titles from the franchise on Disney+, such as The Lion King (1994), The Lion King (2019), The Lion Guard, and The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl concert special.
Of course, Disney+ is offering a limited-time deal where new and returning customers can subscribe to Disney+ Standard with Ads for $1.99/month for four months, if they sign up by March 30.
