Alleged iOS 19 Design Leaks Ahead of WWDC: Check It Out [VIDEO]

In a rare alleged early leak, major visual changes coming in iOS 19 have surfaced ahead of Apple’s official unveiling at WWDC in June. YouTuber Front Page Tech released a video today showing recreated versions of iOS 19’s new interface, based on what sources claim is the real redesign Apple has been working on.
This overhaul marks what could be one of the biggest iOS redesigns ever, borrowing heavily from the style of visionOS, which powers Apple Vision Pro of course. Expect more gloss, rounded elements, and fluid animations across the entire system.
“iOS really never leaks early, but today it does,” says Jon Prosser.
The lock screen and notification area aren’t changing much functionally, but the visuals are getting a noticeable polish. The same goes for Apple’s stock apps—Messages, Calendar, Phone, and more—which now follow the updated theme. A redesigned camera app was previously leaked, and this video confirms it’s part of a larger system-wide refresh.
There’s no sign yet of major new AI features in iOS 19, though that could change closer to launch. Apple reportedly shifted design plans last year to prioritize launching Apple Intelligence, delaying the redesign to 2025. But now, it looks like both hardware and software will get a fresh look this fall.
For those hoping for round home screen icons, that doesn’t seem to be happening—at least not in the version seen by sources. However, the keyboard, settings panels, and pop-up UI elements have all been touched by the new design language, leaning into a “floating” glassy feel.
With WWDC just months away, Apple fans can expect a deeper look soon. But for now, this might be the clearest early glimpse yet at what’s next for iOS, if you believe FPT.
Here’s what iMessage apparently looks like within iOS 19:

Here’s the iOS 19 keyboard which looks like the same, minus some ‘glassy’ border:

Check out the FPT below. If Prosser is wrong, is he going to shave his eye brows again?
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reacted to today’s leaks, pouring some cold water on them, saying, “iOS 19 images floating around aren’t representative of what we’ll see at WWDC. They look to be based on either very old builds or vague descriptions, missing key features. Expect more from Apple in June. Regardless, mockups – real or not – are always exciting for Apple watchers.”
