Caught on Cam: Rogers Contractor Pees on Man’s Car, Gets Fired
A B.C. man says a third-party contractor working for Rogers urinated on his vehicle while his family was away on vacation, and the incident has left him frustrated and wary of door-to-door salespeople.
Stephen Slous was vacationing on Vancouver Island when he received a motion alert from his home security camera in Salmon Arm on March 21. The footage showed a man, identified as a contractor representing Rogers, entering the family’s carport and urinating on the side of his car. The video clearly shows the contractor wearing a red shirt with the Rogers logo. His Eufy security camera records the contractor ringing his doorbell then knocking on the window.
At first, he thought the contractor was going to try to break into the vehicle. But then things got really weird as he just unzipped his pants, peed on the passenger tire of his SUV, then walked away, explained Slous.
The carport is an area where Slous’ young children often play. “I usually pull the vehicles out so they can practice riding their bikes in there,” Slous said. “It’s even more personal because they can’t ride their bikes through urine.”
Rogers responded in a statement to Global News to say, “As soon as we became aware of this incident involving a third-party contractor, we took steps to address the situation. The individual is no longer employed by the vendor, and we’ve reached out to the impacted homeowner to apologize for this incident.” The company also offered to pay to clean the car and the carport.
Still, Slous said the company’s response didn’t go far enough. “It definitely ruined the last night in Nanaimo. Driving home, all I could think about was someone peeing on my vehicle for no apparent reason.”
He added that the incident has reinforced his negative view of door-to-door sales reps, saying they are “always disrespectful and very pushy” and he was glad this incident was caught on camera.

”incident has left him frustrated and wary”. “It definitely ruined the last night in Nanaimo. Driving home, all I could think about…”. “Slous said the company’s response didn’t go far enough”. Way too much gaslighting. Canadians gas light way too much. I’d be thankful it wasn’t number 2. lol. Spend the two bucks, hit the car wash, wash the car….Done!
Found the Rogers bot.
Rogers should start a new discount. “Salesman pee? Hey, first month free. Salesman poo, hey go for two, thats two months free”. For Bell, they should start advertising, “Fastest network, coast to coast, and our Team is potty trained”. lol.
There is literally no difference between a news story about Canada and a story about rural India these days.
Was the rep frustrated that there was no one home and took a leak out of revenge or did he check if the coast was clear first so he could relieve himself? Either way, I can imagine how violated the owners must have felt. If it was up to me, the guy would have been feeling violated too.
