With A Minecraft Movie set to hit theatres on April 4, LEGO is giving fans a head start on the action.

Several new LEGO Minecraft sets are now available across Canada, combining the hands-on fun of LEGO with the blocky, creative world of Minecraft (can you even last the night in survival mode??).

Two of the newest builds as part of A Minecraft Movie — the Woodland Mansion Fighting Ring and The Ghast Balloon Village Attack — were officially announced in March 2025. These sets are aimed at kids aged 10 and up, offering detailed builds with moving parts and familiar characters from the Minecraft universe.

The Woodland Mansion Fighting Ring includes 491 pieces and is priced at $64.99 CAD (also on Amazon.ca). The set features a mansion facade and a fighting ring where builders can use attachable handles to recreate battle scenes. Players can keep score and interact with characters like Steve, Garrett, Henry, a baby zombie, a chicken jockey, and a large posable hog. Accessories like potions, weapons, and a hidden chest complete the scene, making it ideal for action-packed play.

The Ghast Balloon Village Attack offers a more chaotic storyline, with 555 pieces for $89.99 CAD (also Amazon.ca). A flying ghast balloon launches discs, while a village fountain explodes during battles. The set includes characters such as Steve, Natalie, Dawn, a villager, two piglins, a baby chicken, and a posable iron golem. Builders can explore market stalls, a crafting shack, and a fried chicken restaurant topped with a quirky egg-laying roof chicken. The set blends combat with a touch of Minecraft humour and creativity.

For younger builders, LEGO also offers The Baby Pig House. Designed for ages 7 and up, this 238-piece set is priced at $24.99 CAD (on sale on Amazon for $21). It includes a pig-shaped house with a bed, crafting table, bookcase, and a small farm. Characters include a hero in wolf skin, an adult pig, a baby pig, a bee, and a zombified piglin. Kids can use a dangling carrot to guide the pigs and play out light-hearted scenes in a classic Minecraft-style setting. This pig set is super cute.

All three sets are now available at LEGO.ca/Minecraft, LEGO stores, and other major retailers across Canada such as Amazon.ca. With the movie release just around the corner, these sets offer fans a fun and interactive way get hyped ahead of the A Minecraft Movie debut. Let’s hope Jack Black lives up the cringey first trailer.
