Public Mobile Debuts $25 Plan, Cuts Some International Minutes

Telus-owned Public Mobile continues to tweak its plans and the expiry of the $26 4G plan continues.

The plan first debuted at $26/20GB, then saw its data cut in half to 10GB with an expiry of April 10. Today, the plan continues to evolve and has reduced in price by $1, but its data has been cut in half again, down to 5GB.

Here are Public Mobile’s 4G nationwide plans as of writing:

This $25 plan with 5GB still tops the current $25/3.5GB plans after autopay from prepaid rivals Chatr (Rogers) and Lucky Mobile (Bell).

Here are the company’s Canada-US-Mexico 5G plans as of April 11, 2025:

Another slight tweak is the $29/10GB 5G plan now has 150 fewer international minutes, down to 100 from 250. Also, Public Mobile now writes out the complete text of “Canada-US-Mexico” on its 5G plans, instead of having “CAN-US-MEX” labels.
