Nintendo Switch 2 Game Pricing in Canada: Mario Kart World is $109.99
Nintendo today announced its Switch 2 pre-orders will kick off in Canada and the U.S. on April 24, 2025. This new date comes after the original pre-order date was delayed due to U.S. tariffs.
Today we also found out the official MSRP pricing for Switch 2 games in Canada, in particular premium titles made by Nintendo.
With Mario Kart World priced at $79.99 USD, many including us thought it would cost $112 CAD after exchange rates. Well, Nintendo has priced Mario Kart World at $109.99 in Canada, which is pretty much on par with current exchange rates.
For Donkey Kong Bonanza, it’s priced at $99.99 CAD. Both prices are definitely on the premium side for games coming from Nintendo.
The good news is original pricing for the Nintendo Switch 2 console remains at $629.99 CAD and the Mario Kart World Bundle stays at $699.99 CAD too. Both prices are still pretty high according to Nintendo fans.
