Apple Shares ‘Hands on with Apple Intelligence’ Walkthrough [VIDEO]

Apple has released a nearly six-minute video titled Hands on with Apple Intelligence, offering a detailed look at the AI features available on select iPhones, iPads, and Macs.

While the demo walks through various tools designed to help users write, create, and organize, one key piece is still missing: the revamped Siri, which has yet to be released and is coming later this year.

Apple Intelligence is supported on:

  • iPhone 16 models (expected later this year)
  • iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max
  • iPads and Macs with an M1 chip or newer
  • iPad mini models with the A17 Pro chip

Here are the Apple Intelligence features highlighted in the video:

  • Photo Clean Up: Tap unwanted objects in a photo and remove them instantly, like an accidental photobomber.
  • Genmoji: Make custom emojis just by describing them—no emoji shortage ever again.
  • Image Playground: Generate fun, custom images (like a “dinosaur birthday party”) in seconds with AI art tools.
  • Mail Summarize: Quickly get the key points from long emails—great for skipping lengthy school updates or work threads.
  • Writing Tools: Change the tone of your messages (e.g., from angry to friendly) or use ChatGPT to help you draft things like a workout plan.
  • Visual Intelligence: Point your camera at a poster, object, or text to get instant information or help—like saving a show’s date to your calendar or figuring out dinner ideas based on your fridge contents.

The company says Apple Intelligence is private and secure, running directly on-device when possible.

Still, Apple’s updated version of Siri is not available yet, despite being initially marketed with the iPhone 16 series. Expect it to be released later this year for the iPhone 17 series instead. Check out the video below:
