Rogers Xfinity TV Adds 150+ Global Channels, Free Preview

Rogers has expanded its Xfinity TV service by adding more than 150 international channels in over 20 languages, giving customers access to over 480 channels in total.

The company says the move aims to give viewers a wider range of entertainment options, especially for Canadians who want to stay connected to their language and culture. A March 2025 Rogers-commissioned study of 1,546 Canadian households found interest in in-language live TV among those where at least one person speaks a non-official language.

“We’re proud to bring Canadians the most TV content and best entertainment experience,” said Bret Leech, President, Residential, Rogers, in a statement on Thursday. “Our world-class platform seamlessly integrates this TV content, which now includes 150+ channels from around the world, with a growing range of streaming services so customers can easily find the content they’re looking for with our award-winning voice remote.”

The new channels are available as a free preview for Xfinity TV subscribers until June 17. After that, customers can choose to add them to their package as part of customized theme packs.

The updated Xfinity TV platform combines traditional TV channels with on-demand content and streaming apps in one place.

Last month, Rogers Xfinity added Multiview, which lets customer watch two NHL playoff games at once. The company launched Comcast’s Xfinity suite of services back in November, part of an ongoing partnership.
