Telus has slashed the price on its 5G+ wireless plans in what it’s noting is a limited-time “weekend sale”.

The sale has cut prices on bring your own device plans which are also applicable for phone upgrades. What we are seeing is a $10/month discount compared to May 2. Telus has increased and decreased its prices yet again over the past three weeks.

Here are the Telus plans as of today, Friday, May 16, after debit autopay for bring your own device:

  • $60/100GB (was $70)
  • $70/175GB Canada-US (was $80)
  • $90/250GB Canada-US-Mexico (was $100)

Just add $5/month to these plans if you’re going to add it to a phone upgrade.

The $80/100GB and $90/175 Canada-US plans have been removed. Also, the $110/250 Canada-US-Mexico plan for phone upgrades has been discounted to $95/month.

To put the Telus changes into comparison, let’s see what Bell and Rogers plans are up to:

Bell

  • $65/100GB 5G+
  • $75/175GB 5G+ Canada-US
  • $95/250GB 5G+ Canada-US-Mexico

Rogers
