Amazon Canada Reveals Prime Day Deals, Contest with Bret Hart and More

Amazon Canada has released its lineup of Prime Day deals, revealing discounts on popular brands, contests with celebrity hosts, and the launch of a new Canadian music documentary. The four-day shopping event begins July 8 at 12:01 a.m. PDT and runs until July 11, making it the longest Prime Day in Amazon’s history. Because who doesn’t love shopping on a whim from your phone?
Canadians can now shop early deals on Amazon devices like Echo Pop, Fire tablets, and Ring cameras—some at their lowest prices yet. Prime members can also save on local brands such as Cetaphil, Kidamento, Organika, and Only One Treats.
Contests and Rewards
This year’s Giftmania contest returns with WWE legend Bret “The Hitman” Hart and Lilly Singh as hosts. Prime members who opt in can win trips, sports tickets, or prizes from brands like Apple, Sony, and Google. Entries are earned with each purchase over $20, with bonus entries for mobile app orders and select brands, which includes select Apple products. The contest runs until July 11.
Meanwhile, Aeroplan members shopping through the Aeroplan eStore can earn up to 10x the points during Prime Day. Ten lucky winners will score one million Aeroplan points in a contest starting June 18.
New Canadian Documentary
To mark the event, Amazon will debut an exclusive documentary, Simple Plan: The Kids in the Crowd, on Prime Video July 8. The film follows the Montreal band’s rise from garage gigs to international punk fame, featuring rare footage and interviews with Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus, Avril Lavigne, and others.
