Subway Canada is bringing back its Happy Gilmore tie-in with the release of Happy Gilmore 2, set to debut on exclusively on Netflix July 25.
Starting July 10, customers can add a limited-edition Happy Gilmore cup to any Subway combo for an extra $1. There are four designs featuring characters from the franchise:

“Few films have transcended generations and inserted themselves into popular culture quite like Happy Gilmore,” said Courtney Hindorff, Managing Director of Subway Canada, in a statement to iPhone in Canada on Thursday. “Subway Canada is thrilled to partner with Netflix, giving fans more ways to enjoy their favourite subs and to celebrate Happy’s return in Happy Gilmore 2.”
Happy Gilmore 2 marks the return of the Adam Sandler-led golf comedy nearly 30 years after the original film. It’s going to feature a tonne of cameos and we’re looking forward to watching the sequel.
