Apple Releases iOS 18.6 Beta 2 and More for Developers

Apple on Monday released new developer betas of iOS 18.6 and other upcoming OS updates, giving insiders a look at what’s coming. Here’s what’s available for download right now:

  • iOS 18.6 beta 2 (22G5064d)
  • iPadOS 18.6 beta 2 (22G5064d)
  • macOS 15.6 beta 2 (24G5065c)
  • tvOS 18.6 beta 2 (22M5065b)
  • visionOS 2.6 beta 2 (22O5764b)
  • watchOS 11.6 beta 2 (22U5065c)

Apple dropped the first developer betas for these OS versions earlier this month. iOS 18.6 beta 1 and its accompanying releases didn’t bring anything major, barring references to Apple’s rumoured smart display-equipped home hub product.

The same can be expected of these second betas, which should only include some smaller changes and bug fixes. Apple is likely saving big changes and meaningful new features for iOS 26 and equivalents, which were unveiled at the company’s WWDC event earlier this month and will feature the new Liquid Glass UI redesign across all devices.

Stay tuned for any notable changes found within iOS 18.6 beta 2. You can install the update by going to Settings > General > Software Update on your iPhone or iPad, provided you have access to developer betas.
