Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition for Mac is Now Available for Download

CD Projekt Red has officially launched Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition for Apple Silicon Macs, marking the first time the open-world action RPG is natively available on the platform. The game can now be downloaded through the Mac App Store, GOG.com, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. The game is finally out after initially being set to launch in early 2025.
This version includes the base game and the Phantom Liberty expansion, a spy-thriller storyline featuring Idris Elba as Solomon Reed. It also features Keanu Reeves reprising his role as Johnny Silverhand. Players take on the role of V, a cyber-enhanced mercenary navigating the dangerous streets of Night City — a dystopian city obsessed with tech, power, and body modification.
The release also includes every update released so far, including the latest Update 2.3. This new patch introduces fresh quests, additional vehicles, AutoDrive functionality, and more options in Photo Mode.
To run the game, users will need a Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 or newer) and at least 16GB of RAM. It supports the latest macOS 15.5 or later. Visual upgrades include ray tracing, frame generation, and HDR that has been tuned for Apple’s XDR displays. For those using AirPods, the game also supports Spatial Audio with head tracking.
The game is optimized for a wide range of Apple Silicon devices, including the latest M3 and M4 models like the new iMac, MacBook Air, Mac mini, MacBook Pro, and Mac Studio with M3 Ultra. M1 Macs are also supported, provided they meet the memory requirement.
Players who already own Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition on GOG, Steam, or the Epic Games Store can download and play it on a compatible Mac at no extra cost. Everyone else will need to pay $104.99 in the Mac App Store in Canada.
