iOS 26 Public Beta May Arrive as Soon as July 23, According to Leaker’s New Info

A leaker with a strong track record has shared evidence pointing to the release date of the iOS 26 public beta release date. According to new evidence, the software could launch as soon as Wednesday, July 23rd.
The leaker requested their identity not to be shared, but the information in question was first reported on by MacRumors. The individual goes on to claim that developer beta 4 will be available sometime today. We’ve known the iOS 26 beta will be available in July for some time but it would have to follow the developer beta 4.
Build numbers for upcoming betas were also shared by the leaker. These cover everything from iOS 26 to iPadOS 26 beta 4, macOS, tvOS and more. Here are all of the build numbers:
- iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 beta 4 (23A5297i)
- macOS 26 beta 4 (25A5316i)
- tvOS 26 and HomePod Software 26 beta 4 (23J5316g)
- watchOS 26 beta 4 (23R5317g)
- visionOS 26 beta 4 (23M5300g)
According to the report, this account has accurately shared build numbers in the past with accuracy. It’s said build numbers are typically shared one day before release. Therefore, it’s assumed that the fourth developer beta may be released as soon as today. The first round of public betas is then likely to follow. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman corroborated this in the past. He previously stated that public betas are “expected” to release “around the 23rd” of the month.
According to Apple, there will not be a visionOS 26 public beta, so users will have to wait until the official release of the software.
If you’re interested, you can sign up to be a member of the Apple Beta Software Program. This allows you to freely access public betas when they are available. As with any Apple software beta, it’s highly encouraged to back up your device before installing the beta in the event there is an issue with the software.
