Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is teaming up with Roblox and the viral hit Grow a Garden, for a live special event on Saturday, July 26, 2025.

Kelce will join developer Jandel for a special in-game event happening tomorrow. The event, which promises “admin abuse” and wild new weather effects, will feature a chat between Kelce and Jandel — and players who attend will receive an exclusive reward.

Even Roblox CEO David Baszucki chimed in on X, joking that Kelce might be showing off more than just football skills: “Pretty sure @tkelce has skillz beyond football – including possibly doing some gardening with @jandelRblx before he hits the field for preseason…”

The event is expected to draw a crowd of fans eager to see the NFL star interact in one of Roblox’s most chaotic developer-led experiences.

The event is titled “Travis Kelce Takeover! Live with Kelce” and it starts on Saturday, July 26 at 6:30am PT/9:30am ET and goes until 7am PT/10am ET. No word if Taylor Swift will make a surprise appearance or not (now that would be crazy).

Right after the Travis Kelce Takover event, Grow a Garden’s ‘Corrupted’ Event starts right at 7am PT/10am ET.

“The Zen event expands with lots more content to explore! A corrupt channeler has arrived and Tranquility is fading, you must help bring and restore balance! Discover and play the Corrupted event! Unlock brand new seeds, pets, items, features, weather, and so much more!”, says Grow a Garden’s description.

Just what the heck is Grow a Garden? It’s a Roblox game that has exploded in popularity, setting concurrent user records that have surpassed Fortnite. It’s the latest rage amongst kids right now as they continue to compete with friends to make the most money possible in the game–by growing their garden.
