iPhone 17 Leak Spurs Popular Casemaker to Show Off its ‘Tank Case’

Toronto-based casemaker Dbrand has shared a teaser of its upcoming ‘Tank Case’ for Apple’s iPhone 17 series, which has seen most of its design already leak.

Dbrand’s new Tank Case will be “launching September, exclusively for the iPhone 17 series,” says the company’s website. People can get notified of its release by signing up for the mailing list. The case shows the iPhone 17 design with three rear cameras (the Pro line) along with the flash all part of a new rear camera bar area.

Overall, you can see the rugged design of this ‘Tank Case’, which is likely made for those with butterfingers that want to protect their expensive, shiny new iPhone 17 series when it launches next month.

The Tank Case for Dbrand was created by designer Ian Zelbo. You can see all the renders of the new design here. No word on pricing but existing iPhone 16 Pro cases start from $60 on its website.

Given that Apple might increase the price of the iPhone 17 lineup due to tariffs, getting a case is more important than ever, unless you’re buying AppleCare+. Cases from Spigen are decent and its own tough case is much cheaper starting from $30.
