Google Launches AI-Powered Flight Deals Search in Canada

Google is adding a new AI-powered feature to Google Flights called Flight Deals, aimed at travellers who just want the cheapest trip without endless date and destination searches.
Instead of manually adjusting filters, you can type something like “week-long trip this winter to a city with great food, nonstop only” or “10-day ski trip to a resort with fresh powder,” and the tool will pull up the best matching bargains — even to places you might not have thought of.
It works by combining Google’s AI with live data from Google Flights, showing real-time deals from hundreds of airlines and booking sites. The original Google Flights isn’t going anywhere, and it’s even getting an update to let you exclude basic economy fares in the U.S. and Canada.
Flight Deals is rolling out in beta over the next week in the U.S., Canada, and India, and you can try it by visiting the Flight Deals page or finding it in the Google Flights menu.
Earlier this year, Google launched hotel price alerts in Canada, so coupled with this Flight Deals search, you can maximize your travel savings.
