As promised, Apple has released iOS 18.6.1 for iPhone, which brings back the Blood Oxygen feature for U.S. Apple Watch users.
“This update provides a new Blood Oxygen experience for users in the United States with Apple Watch Series 9 and Series 10, and Apple Watch Ultra 2. Measurements are calculated on iPhone and viewed in the Health app,” says the iOS 18.6.1 release notes. This brings watchOS 11.6.1 to Apple Watch.

I was told the SPO2 sensor and software is working on "Canadian" Apple Watches? 🤔
Actually this impacted me here in Canada – I bought an open box Series 9 Apple Watch from Best Buy CANADA, and without warning me first, they shipped me a US model which had the O2 sensor disabled. So this is welcome news.
