Apple Confirms iOS 26 Release Date for September 15

At Apple’s ‘Awe Dropping’ special event today, the company confirmed the release date of iOS 26 for the masses, set for Monday, September 15, 2025.

After making Release Candidate (RC) builds available today for iOS 26 and more, we will finally see wide software releases for everyone starting next week.

You’ll see that older iOS and iPadOS releases are also coming for older devices, which is always a good thing for the most part when it comes to bugs and security fixes.
