Samsung Trolls Apple Hard During iPhone 17 Launch, Again

While Apple was showing off its new iPhone 17 lineup yesterday, during its special event, Samsung US was busy trolling the company on X, yet again.
During the livestream, Samsung fired off several sarcastic posts using the cringey hashtag #iCant.
-
β#iCant believe this is still relevant. πβ β a callback to its 2022 tweet mocking Appleβs lack of a foldable phone.
-
β48MP x 3 still doesn’t equal 200MP π #iCantβ β pointing out its higher camera megapixels.
-
βActual innovation > hype #iCantβ – referring to Apple’s glazing of the iPhone 17 Pro Max
-
β#iCant believe some people had to wait 5 years for Sleep Score π«£β – ouch
-
βπ just announced live translation at Zzz-note π₯± All we can say is, welcome to the party π₯³ #iCantβ – referring to Apple’s live translation features in AirPods Pro 3.
Samsung has a history of roasting Apple during big launches, and this was no different. The posts made it clear the company wasnβt about to let Appleβs spotlight go unchallenged. It’s hard to see how you can gain new customers when you’re mocking prospective ones.
Back in September 2024, when Apple launched the iPhone 16 series, Samsung wasted no time trolling. The company reposted its 2022 βLet us know when it foldsβ tweet on X (yes, again), adding βStill waitingβ¦β to highlight Appleβs lack of a foldable device.
At WWDC 2025 in June, Samsung was at it again. As Apple revealed iOS 26 and iPadOS 26, Samsung Mobile US tweeted: βCustomizable apps? Floating bars? That sleek glass UI? Looksβ¦ familiar π€.β The post implied Apple had copied parts of Samsungβs One UI.
Samsung also mocked Appleβs new live translation and AI watch features with lines like: βNew to live translations? Welcome aboard! Weβve been translating text and speech in real-time for a while nowβ¦ #GalaxyAI.β Other one-liners included, βAI is coming to your watch? Cute. Ours already knows when youβre too tired to care π΄ #GalaxyAI.β
The rival once mocked Apple for removing the headphone jack in 2016, even running ads highlighting it. By 2019, Samsung removed the jack on its own phones and quietly deleted those ads. Pot, meet kettle.
Samsung continues to show it isnβt letting up when it comes to trolling Apple during its biggest product moments. What do you think about Samsung? Some could even say its super thing Galaxy S25 Edge was created to get ahead of the iPhone Air.

Sorry but android phones OS slow down to an inusable state after just a few months. iPhones never do. The os runs as quick years later as it did at launch.
you've unfortunately got that completely backwards pal lol.

Apple literally got sued and lost in 2020 for slowing down iphones lol
And yet my iPhone and my wifeβs androids back up what I said. Stop simping for a corporation.
has Apple ever trolled….anyone?
Apple thinks they're omnipotent, they don't need to troll anyone.
The fact that theyβre mercilessly trolled means Samsung thinks so too
They donβt need to
